The new production by Davide Cironi takes us on a journey to discover the evolution of safety in Formula 1 and motorsport, thanks to the introduction and use of carbon fiber.
We are excited to announce that “Lords of Carbon – Dance of Danger“, the new video documentary produced by Davide Cironi and the Drive Experience team in collaboration with Belotti, is now available online on the Davide Cironi YouTube channel.
This new chapter explores the evolution of safety in Formula 1 and motorsport, highlighting the crucial role played by the introduction and the increasingly significant use of carbon fiber.
The inspiration for this project comes from the opening of the Belotti Innovation HUB in Modena, at the heart of the Motor Valley, a technological center designed to develop, test, and implement innovative solutions to optimize and improve milling and trimming processes on advanced materials. Its opening marked a major milestone in our company’s growth in a strategic area, home to prestigious supercar manufacturers and specialized subcontractors working with advanced materials. To celebrate this important achievement, following the success of the first documentary “Lords of Carbon”, released in 2020, we decided to tell a new story about composite materials, once again relying on the artistic direction and distinctive storytelling of Davide Cironi.
The narrative style has thus been preserved: “Lords of Carbon – Dance of Danger” is a collective work, enriched with testimonies and anecdotes from drivers, technicians, journalists, and managers who have experienced and contributed firsthand to this journey of continuous evolution and innovation. This documentary is much more than just a film—it is a story of vision, courage, and unstoppable progress. A testament to the collective commitment and dedication of all the interviewees, who generously shared their stories and know-how.
