The special helmet will be worn by the rider at the French Grand Prix on the Le Mans circuit.
There are objects that go beyond their function. Objects in which design creates connections between lines and graphic elements to bring a story to life. With this in mind, the special helmet that Marco Bezzecchi will wear on the Le Mans circuit for the 2026 MotoGP French Grand Prix was conceived and designed. A unique edition, created to celebrate an important milestone: 50 years of activity of our company, founded in 1976 by Eng. Luciano Belotti.
This is not just a commemorative livery, but a project that brings together sporting identity and technological content. The helmet expresses this connection through its most distinctive elements: the design keeps the scorpion—the rider’s signature symbol—at its center, reinterpreted on a background inspired by carbon fiber texture, a material widely used in motorsport and a key component in the machining operations carried out by our machining centers. One particular detail makes this helmet even more meaningful: the Belotti pictogram replaces the race number 72 in the scorpion’s head. A graphic sign that visually reinforces the connection between the athlete and our company, turning the helmet into a synthesis of sporting performance and industrial innovation.
The collaboration stems from a natural alignment of values: passion for performance, continuous pursuit of excellence, and strong determination. A natural union between two entities that, although operating in different fields, speak the same language: that of precision and speed, both on the track and in CNC machining.
“I wanted the helmet to bring Belotti and me together. I felt the best way to do that was to highlight my symbol — the scorpion — using colors and patterns inspired by carbon fiber, a material processed by Belotti’s CNC centers, which are known worldwide,” says Marco Bezzecchi on the eve of the race.
This connection is also part of an outstanding production chain that directly involves AGV, a historic helmet manufacturer (including those used by the rider) and a client of ours. The company, part of the Dainese Group since 2007, uses one of our Belotti TRIM machining centers equipped with waterjet cutting technology to process carbon fiber shells, including models intended for MotoGP competitions.
This highlights how our technologies concretely contribute to the manufacturing of high-performance components, where precision, surface quality, and structural integrity are essential requirements. On the track, every detail matters—and behind every detail lies a world of research, engineering, and passion.
The commemorative helmet that Marco Bezzecchi will wear is much more than a technical element: it is a design object and a tribute to a fifty-year journey defined by continuous innovation and strong roots.
As the roar of the engines echoes across Le Mans, this helmet will tell an all-Italian story. A story of speed, technology, and a passion that, for 50 years, has continued to drive the development of new technologies for advanced materials machining.
