From an all‑Italian partnership with F. Scassellati Srl comes the new Belotti branch, created to combine high‑level technical and commercial expertise in support of manufacturing industries across Central and Southern Italy.

In July 2020, the Belotti Centro Sud branch officially opened: the new technical‑commercial hub of the Bergamo‑based CNC machining center brand. The presence in Central and Southern Italy specifically covers the regions of Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Basilicata, and Puglia. For any technical or commercial need, local manufacturing companies can now rely on this new facility, whose daily operations are managed by F. Scassellati in close collaboration with Belotti SpA headquarters.

Scassellati was founded by Francesco Scassellati in 1962 as a representation agency for machine tools and industrial equipment. Over time, it grew by developing increasingly advanced technical skills and integrating personnel with direct experience in mechanical machining. By its nature, the company has always sought out the most advanced technologies to integrate into the machine tool offerings of the manufacturers it historically represented. Thanks to this, it has been recognized by the market as a promoter of innovative—often unconventional—solutions. This distinctive and important characteristic makes F. Scassellati the ideal and most qualified partner for the development of Belotti Centro Sud.

Belotti, for its part, brings with it 40 years of history and experience in the design and production of high‑precision machines for the manufacturing sector—particularly aerospace, automotive, railway, and marine, but also packaging, medical, defense, and interior design. Founded in 1979 by engineer Luciano Belotti, the company has grown over the years while maintaining its Italian and Bergamo‑based identity, yet expanding its international vision and presence. Today, in addition to its headquarters in the province of Bergamo, the company operates commercial branches in China and Germany. In Italy, Belotti Centro Sud strengthens the widespread service coverage offered by the parent company, just like Belotti Nord‑Est, another fully Italian branch.

From its early days developing technologies for plastic machining to today—where its advanced technological expertise is primarily applied to solutions for machining composite materials such as carbon fiber and light alloys, especially aluminum—Belotti SpA has always paid particular attention to the technical and functional aspects of its machining centers. By responding to customer needs, even the most complex ones, Belotti SpA develops tailor‑made solutions that combine high‑quality materials and guaranteed high performance with a consultative approach and continuous support throughout the entire lifecycle of its CNC centers

“From the very beginning, we saw in F. Scassellati a partner of great value for us,” comments Umberto Belotti, Managing Director of Belotti SpA. “The partnership and the creation of Belotti Centro Sud are entirely centered on high technical expertise at the service of the local market. A company with a strong technological vocation and DNA like Belotti, and an agency with deep technical knowledge and extensive experience in the territory like F. Scassellati, represent the two key ingredients for establishing a successful presence throughout Central and Southern Italy. There are several manufacturing players we aim to reach thanks to our new technical‑commercial hub.”

Among the main goals of Belotti Centro Sud are: expanding the customer portfolio in key sectors such as aerospace and automotive (and beyond); identifying specific customer needs by developing the various market opportunities and thus increasing the presence of Belotti solutions in the region; and strengthening the services offered to customers. In recent years, the company has indeed focused on enriching its offering in a competitive context where 3‑ and 5‑axis CNC machining centers—often paired with advanced technologies such as waterjet or ultrasonic cutting—are complemented by software for simplified programming, machine monitoring, and management in Industry 4.0 environments, as well as a wide range of support services: complete or component‑level overhauls (including express service), scheduled maintenance, spare parts with just‑in‑time availability, retrofits, and technological consulting.
