Tecnologie Meccaniche magazine presents the integrated solution developed by Belotti and Tebis to compensate for composite material deformations during the CNC machining of components for the marine industry.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in the production of Navy Series machining centers for shipyards and boatbuilders, Belotti collaborated with Tebis Italia to develop a dedicated functionality capable of automatically compensating for geometrical deviations that may occur in fiberglass and composite components. This solution helps eliminate rework, reduce manual intervention, and improve precision, quality, and productivity.
In addition, the Tebis software is able to address the most common challenges in the machining of composite components, including part alignment and deformation compensation.
